The past year has been a challenging time, what with having surgery on my spine in August and then having my 98 year old mother-in-law living with us for half of the year.

I have continued to paint whenever possible and have been struck by how beautiful are the surroundings in Stroud where I live. This, coupled with being given the opportunity to change the venue of my annual exhibition to The Subscriptions in Stroud has inspired me to paint stunning scenes in Stratford Park and around where I live in Rodborough.

I have had a couple of articles written about me during the year in Stroud Life and Artists and Illustrators Magazine.

I will be participating in Open Studios in Stroud again this year on the second and third weekends in June”
