Christine Gaut was born into a family of artists, and her creativity has been utilised in many ways throughout her working life. In recent years, Christine has developed a real passion for painting that displays itself vividly in her beautiful vibrant landscapes, still life, local Cotswold scenes, and more recently, abstract. Christine has worked on commissions in pen and ink, colour wash, watercolour and oil, but her preferred medium is oil, where the ability to "push the paint around the canvas" gives her the greatest freedom to express her love of light, colour and form. |
